Emma trained at the Julie Johnson School of Dancing and studied different disciplines of dance – Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Acrobatics and Lyrical. In addition to her dance qualifications, Emma holds a Degree in Journalism and Media & Cultural Studies which was studied alongside gaining the teaching qualifications with British Theatre Dance Association. Emma is CPD certified with Dancing Memories, where she trained to deliver dance classes in care home settings and also holds a Level 1 certificate as a Mental Wellness Dance Educator. Firstly a student of the School from the age of three, Emma is very experienced and has danced for Sky1 TV and theatres including; The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Shaftesbury Theatre, Sutton College Theatre, Sutton Town Hall, Highbury Little Theatre, Sutton Arts Theatre, Streetly Community Centre and the Lichfield Garrick, to name but a few. Emma has also choreographed shows for theatre companies and continues to perform in shows with local theatre companies.
Emma took over as Principal of the School in 2020, is DBS checked, holds a First Aid Certificate and is registered as a council licenced chaperone.
Izzie has been a student at the school since she was three. She went on to gain a Distinction in an extended Diploma in Dance and graduated university with a BA (Hons) in Dance.
Izzie has performed for the National Entertainment Awards as well as at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, as well as local venues, such as the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, Sutton Coldfield college, Sutton Town Hall and Sutton Arts Theatre.
Izzie is DBS checked, holds a First Aid Certificate and is registered as a council licensed chaperone.
Aarron boasts over 15 years experience within the performing arts and has performed as a musician writing and performing his own songs in the UK and USA. Aarron also has a wealth of experience in local amateur dramatics societies. Most recently he has appeared in shows with Sutton Arts Theatre and the Grange Players, including roles such as Bobby (Company), Nathan Detroit (Guys and Dolls), David Rodingham (Write Me a Murder), and Private E.T Evans (The Long and The Short and The Tall).
Aarron holds a BTEC national Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) and has previously taught at other performing arts academies in the West Midlands. He is DBS checked and holds a council registered chaperone licence.

MISS SEANNA - SENIOR TEACHING STAFF/RECEPTION
Seanna performs with EDA as part of the Stage Class troupe. A keen performer within the amateur dramatics world, Seanna can often be found on stage with local theatre companies.
Seanna holds qualified teacher status, is DBS checked, holds a First Aid Certificate and is registered as a council licensed chaperone.
MISS DIANA - SENIOR TEACHING STAFF/EXAM DAY LEAD
Diana is our exam lead on BTDA examination days. Diana has been a pupil of the School since she was 2.5 years old and has performed in countless stage shows, including pantomime, variety performances and musicals. She has performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as local venues, such as the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, Sutton Coldfield College, Sutton Town Hall and Sutton Arts Theatre.
Diana has attained her teaching qualifications through the British Theatre Dance Association. She holds qualified teacher status, is DBS checked and holds a council registered chaperone licence.
MISS AMANDA - SENIOR TEACHING STAFF
Amanda has been part of the School since the age of three and holds a Student Teacher Qualification with the BTDA.
She has danced in numerous shows at a variety of venues. Amanda is DBS checked and holds is a council registered chaperone licence.
